Is there a way of reducing the deposit on the car hire at Faro Airport

There is a deposit filter at the left hand side of the results page, scroll a bit down and you will see this:- [link]
Choose the deposit amount you desire, the system will show you results ( car photos ) based on your selection.
One final question, is the deposit taken or just blocked?
