At pick-up a deposit amount of CHF 600 will be charged against a valid payment method, as per the car rental supplier's terms and conditions, for the duration of the rental.

Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle. This will be released if there is no theft or new damage during the rental period. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Insurance Coverage section.

All cards must be in the same name as the main driver on the booking.

In the event that you fail to present a valid payment method, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on your account, or the payment method is not in the main driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Driver's age

25 to 99 years.

Young driver's age: 20 to 24 years. Charge 19.99 CHF per day. Maximum 198.99 CHF. Includes 7.7% tax

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Travel Restrictions

Cross border rentals and territorial restrictions:

The vehicle selection can restrict travel to certain countries. For a description of these restrictions on admission, the countries are divided into three zones.

Zone 1: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finnland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britian, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Vatican

Zone 2: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia

Zone 3: All countries which are not in zone 1 or 2.

Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover, Aston Martin, Maserati and Volkswagen cars as well as all Jeeps/off-roaders are only allowed to enter Zone 1 countries in addition to L*** group in Poland and the Czech Republic. Luxury Cars are only permitted to enter in Zone I. Vehicles of all other brands may enter only in the zones 1 and 2.

Entry into any country in zone 3 is not permitted.

In case of offence against cross border and territorial restrictions all insurances lose their validity.

Charges when traveling abroad

For travels into Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britian, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Vatican a charge applies. In case of a one-way rental to one of the above mentioned countries, the foreign use charge applies in addition to the one-way fee.
